June is my favorite month of the year, because that's when the summer starts, but it's till not too hot and also because it's my birthday month! Here are some of my June favorites.

This advertisement of Selfridges (high end department store chain in the UK) is consisting out of beautiful illustrations full of bright colors. The main topic of the animation is sustainability, which is represented with a natural theme in a whimsical way.

That plastic is the new smoking is no news. Stylist Magazine published an article about this topic with some interesting images. I find the cigarette pack filled with plastic straws is not only a great idea, but it's also aesthetically highly pleasing.

This month I discovered some amazing work done by the guys at the Furrow studio. Their explainer videos have all that is needed: modern design, sleek movements, perfect color balance and interesting storytelling.
ART SUPPLIES artsy stuff
Water-based real brush pens from Arteza
This month I tried out pens which have real brush tips instead of felt tips, which makes a huge difference in painting. They are extremely soft and the brushes give a similar feeling to painting with watercolors. Once I got used to this technique, I wanted to use them every day!
